Had my 8 week appointment today. Sadly, the sac was empty :( doctor said it was something called a blighted ovum.

I had the choice to take a pill & I declined it as it had a lot of side effects. So I'll just wait for it to pass on it's own. My doctor said she couldn't tell me when would happen. I'm assuming some time soon since it's been empty for the whole time.

Has anyone else experienced this??

I'm sort of terrified of trying again when we get to that point.
