I don’t know I don’t see an issue just cause I don’t care for my boyfriends family & he doesn’t care for mine. It’s not like we avoid each other’s families but I would rather be with my friends over his family & vise versa. It just flows for us 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think it depends on a couple of things....
Is it his only chance to see those friends by chance? If yes I'd be okay with it. My SO has friends that live out of the state, so when they come back seeing them is a priority, although he always has multiple times to see them so it shouldn't be an issue. 
 
If you haven't been together long, I'd be okay with it as well.
