I had a feeling that this was coming but it still took me by surprise my fiancé and I have been together for two years after we met at our old work place he is a little bit older than me and has three children with a previous girlfriend who doesn’t take care of them and doesn’t know how to keep a job and we are in the process of taking all three from her( we already have his oldest son) well yesterday was my first Christmas with his son and I went completely over the top for him I have been buying for him since September and had over 30 gifts for him and I was super excited to see his face when he opened everything (it was so cute I videotaped him opening most of them) well we waited until he opened all of his presents to open our and we took turns he insisted I go first so I started opening mine and after about 2 presents I opened the ring and I was beyond shocked by it I told him when we first got together that if we got engaged I wanted it to be on Christmas and he remembered that, anyways I opened the ring and it was his idea to get me two one that he knew wasn’t my style gold band with multi colored gems in it and I just thought he bought me some jewelry well when I looked back up his whole family was around me and he was on one knee with the most beautiful ring I have ever seen I couldn’t help but get emotional and of course I said yes I love this man with all my heart and can’t wait to be his wife.
