My boyfriend is leaving to a different state and we haven't had sex yet and idk if we should before he leaves 😕 I want it to be special but I don't know if it's going to feel that way

I waited until I was ready to have sex with my gf and even though it was just in my apartment on my bed on a normal day it still felt so special and loving and I won’t forget it.

No, don’t do it.  As long as you’re asking if you should or not is proof that you’re not ready.  It’s not a bad thing, you’re just not ready.  If you and your boyfriend are meant to be,  then you will have sex with him eventually, and at that time, you’ll know it’s right.  You won’t need to ask anyone.  Don’t do it for the wrong reasons. It won’t be special and you’ll regret it. It’s not a game or a contest.  It’s has everything to do with your heart and emotions.   Sex is wonderful but it can also complicate things beyond your imagination.
