Late 1 day...positive?

Ive taken many a pregnancy test on day 1 of my period being late and today is the first day it says positive. My hubby says we can’t trust home tests and refuses to believe it until we go to the doctor. Could it just be a false positive ? How often do those actually happen?

false positives are not common. looks like a BFP to me! when I first got my positive I took another test just to be sure. but it looks positive to me!!!

could be a false positive but there's definitely something going on, maybe retest a few more times to be sure? ❤️

Those lines are too dark for false positive! And to be honest it’s never a false positive it’s just a chemical pregnancy that doesn’t make it. You’re def pregnant babe!!! CONGRATS!!!!!!
