Hypothyroidism

I was just diagnosed with hypothyroidism and I’m scared. I don’t know exactly what this is. I don’t know what to eat because I feel like I can’t eat anything I like anymore. Google explained more about it than my doctor. Working on changing doctors now. I’m so scared I don’t know what to do. I did start my medication but it’s just scary :(
