Painted toy box-

I am buying a white wooden toy box for my 3 month old son tomorrow. I would like to paint something on the sides of the box but not sure what, other than his name and maybe baby looking animals. If you have painted anything for your little ones please leave photos. I would like some inspiration. Here is an adorable photo I found on Pinterest just for reference of what i'd like to do! :)
