How do I know when I’m ready for #2?

My little one, is 7 months old he will be 1 in May. He’s such an easy baby, sleeps good, never cries unless he’s tired keeps himself occupied. On one hand I want another one because i feel I could handle it and on the other I kinda just want to enjoy how easy he is and have one on one time. My fiancé and I both know we want another and we want them close but just not sure when the right time is. We’ve discussed it several times and next Friday I have a gyno app (pap smear) and I’ve thought about asking him to remove my IUD. My fiancé said he doesn’t care its my body. Anyone else in the same boat? Or does anyone have any advice? I’m just so torn!

my advice would be to enjoy your baby why he's young and easy they get harder as they get older I find xx

Oh girl my first had me fooled too!! He was absolutely perfect I would put him down for bed at 8:00pm and he would sleep through the night at 3 weeks old I had to wake him up to feed him he would wake up for the morning any where from 10am- 11:30am I would purposely go wake him cause I was twiddling my thumbs waiting for my perfect boy to get up lol. And when he was 14months old I found out I was pregnant I though dam I have a good baby the next will be perfect too.... BOY WAS I WRONG!!! This one don’t sleep through the night and he just turned  4 he wakes up and is ready to play at 4am and literally has NEVER SLEPT  THOUGH THE NIGHT he also through up every single day 3-4 times a day for the first 2 years of his life!! I love my boys but if I would have known how hard the last 4 years were going to be I would have waited until now to have another one! Good luck may the forces be with you

Personally, when we decided to try for a second my initiate thought was that I can handle another baby. I didn't think it through as much as I should of. Now 27 weeks pregnant with baby number two and I cry every night knowing these are my last few months with just my little girl before everything changes. I cry thinking about the look of betrayal on her face when she sees me holding another baby in the hospital, then again when I bring it home. It KILLS me. I love this baby so much already, but I wish I would have put my daughters feelings first. Of corse everyone, and every child responds differently. But me personally, I might not have been emotionally prepared enough to handle it right now. Also, there's no way to get a 2 year old to completely understand that you're having a baby until the baby is here, so I suggest waiting till your first is old enough to understand the concept, maybe 2 1/2 or 3 years.
