Baby has had 101 fever since the morning 😿 any tips?

We already went to the ER they said it’s most likely a virus and just have to let it pass 😭 I’m giving him Tylenol right now but it keeps coming back

You can alternate with Motrin too to help. Keep your baby hydrated. If you BF make sure LO is drinking. If not you can add Pedialyte. My pediatrician said to give it full strength not to dilute. I was told baby should have at least 5 wet diapers to make sure they are well hydrated. 
Unfortunately you have to ride it out. My daughter just got over the flu. She slept A LOT but is feeling better now. It took about 5 days. Good luck

I also seen something to about cutting a potato in a small circle and putting it in your child’s socks over night. It’s supposed to help draw out whatever is making them sick. It’s a conspiracy but some moms say it works! The potato looks almost black after left in the sock for overnight. Hope your LO gets better soon!

warm bath, humidifier, and keep him warm. warmer than normal. he needs to break the fever and the only way to do that is keep him warm. then also a cold, not freezing, damp cloth on his forehead
