smoking marijuana well pregnant?

my friend is 8 months pregnant and suffers from sever anorexia she only has an appetite after smoking a little she never smokes alot and only once a day. she has many doctors due to her illness and them being such risks to her pregnancy some of her doctors tell her what she is doing is ok and some she feels are judging her for doing this. she never smoked before but her husband was trying to find ways to get her to eat and this is what worked, in the beginning of her pregnancy she was on an IV for fluids 2 times a day for an hour or 2 at a time and spent more time in the hospital then out of it, but sense she has started smoking she has improved drastically health wise and has started gaining a little weight.
