one and done..anyone else?

any ftm who feel like they are done having babies? ive been feeling like I'm done. ive talked to my husband about him getting snipped lol but says to wait at least a year before making a decision..but for some reason I feel lils I'm done. I'm in love with my 2 month old but pregnancy was rough...had an emergency c section cuz baby's heart stopped. I've had mastitis I just feel like it has been so hard not sure I can or want to do it again..am I crazy?

I have twins as a FTM and we are DONE!! I love my babies and we are overjoyed (& overwhelmed). No shame in being done.

I have only one also, 8 months. I flew through my pregnancy and delivery without meds and tears. My baby is so easy and happy. Never had any trouble with her. And generally just having an easy time. However, I really do not feel the want/need for another one. Just love her so much, and don’t feel like anything is missing in our lives. I am 25, and decided that if I don’t get the need for another one by 30, it isn’t gonna happen. So think it’s perfectly valid you don’t want another one, even if you had liked being pregnant and hadn’t had a c-section!

I’m struggling with this too. My daughter had reflux for 3 months all she did was cry nonstop. Not to mention the wright gain and stress of being pregnant , but I really want her to have a sibling. I don’t want her going through life alone if something happens to my husband and I

Give it time, I think a majority of women have the "I'm done " feeling at the end of pregnancy and the first few months pp, especially when there were complications. I told my husband I'm done after each pregnancy and either he needs to get snipped or I'm getting my tubes done. I'm now pregnant with my 4th baby lol. I'm not saying you will definitely want more, you might not, but I wouldn't make that decision now unless you always knew you only wanted one.

My husband and I are very much on the fence about having another one. Our daughter is four months and even if we want another one, we would wait at least two years. Right now, I really cannot imagine doing another pregnancy (which I hated) and deliver (which wasn’t terrible). Plus those sleepless nights and screaming and crying, I just don’t know. Plus, I feel quite content with our girl and she’s enough for us right now.

I feel the same way! Being pregnant sucked and my delivery was horrible. I had complications and pain that required surgery to repair 4 months PP. If I have another baby I'll need a c-section which I know has its own potential problems.  Right now I'm just enjoying my baby girl and maybe I'm a few years I'll change my mind. I love being a mom and the idea of having more children but I wish the stork would drop off the next one! Lol

I felt the same way! I was POSITIVE I did not want any more children after my son... had miscarriage prior to pregnancy with him... I HATED being preg... had horrible time with delivery, also ended up having emergency c section... thankfully we were both fine... had rough time healing from c section bc she cut me vertically... we couldn't get the formula right for my son so he cried a lot... here we are 4 yrs later and I'm preg with baby #2! 💙💜
It's too early to decide that you don't want anymore babies! 😉
