Inexpensive engagement ring

My boyfriend proposed on Christmas Day and I’m so excited ❤️❤️❤️

He didn’t have a ring when he proposed and we said we’ll go pick one out together.

We don’t want to spend that much money (I really don’t need a ring that costs as much as a car) but I do want something pretty.

Preferably rose gold with a real diamond. I like morganite too but I heard anything other than a diamond will scratch over time.

Does anyone have any tips on where to find a real, pretty but not extremely expensive ring?
