Long Term Birth Control?

Jen

I'm a freshman in college and recently have become sexually active. Currently I'm relying on condoms as birth control, however, I'm interested in a more long term birth control method, that's somewhat low maitenence. The pill is already ruled out due to family medical reasons (blood clotting). Upon doing research about what my campus's medical center has I was thinking of one of these:

*The Patch

*The Implant

*IUD

*Injection

However, I don't know many people that use these methods of birth control and I'd like some guidance on what the pros and cons of each are, the immediate aftercare, and what it's like living with them day to day.

Thanks in advance! 😀
