Yesterday I went to the hospital because I had a severe discomfort, located only in my back on the left side just under my ribs. Felt like I pulled something. After doing urine tests they found I had a UTI and gave me amoxicillin. After picking up my script and getting home, I took the first antibiotic at about 7:30pm. Around 11:30-12 last night I started to get the pack pain all across my lower back this time, but the discomfort I had previously had gone away. Through the night and currently, it's upgraded to back pain and now pain across my lower abdomen/pelvic region. It's just a constant pain, doesn't feel like contractions. I had about 2 Braxton hicks contractions which tightened my belly but it wasn't consistent. Now I'm just sore with the aches in the back and lower abdomen. I was just wondering if any women who was diagnosed with a UTI has gone through feelings like this, or if anyones labour started this way. I've been losing small pieces of my mucus plug over the past 5 days now, but was told by the obgyn that it was normal. I'll be 36 weeks along tomorrow.
