Baby rash under neck from wet bibs?

Question

My 8 month olds rash under his neck gets better and worse for no reason at all. We go through like 24 bibs in a day bc he drools so much. Any idea what is best to put on it? Diaper rash cream drys it out. Aveeno baby lotion seems to help if I apply 5 times a day! Any other suggestions?

My little one had the same thing and the rash was really red and irritated and wasn’t going away. His doctor checked it out and told me to use the powder you get for athletes foot and dab a little under his neck. The rash was gone in 24 hours the skin was still red and irritated but used baby powder/cornstarch to keep under his neck dry to prevent the rash from coming back. Never came back after that. I would go to the doctor to get it looked at before putting anything medicinal on it though

I'd like to know,too. We've done everything: change bibs frequently, no bibs, no clothes, separate dry cloth,to ensure dryness, Aquaphor, triple paste, vaseline, Aveeno eczema night cream. I have no idea what will work.

We’ve been free bibbing it, it seemed like the rash was getting worse with bibs even if I changed frequently. It’s looked much better recently.

yess the same thing happens to my lil Alice, i use this on literally everything from the red cheeks scratches and rare rash. rashes eill go away next day i promise you, and i only want the most safe

My daughter had it under her neck rolls and down her chest while she as teething. Doctor said to leave it alone haha
