Abortion Stories?

Question

Can anyone relate with any abortion stories? I’m having an extremely tough time right now and I have absolutely no one or nothing to relate to. I am in no condition to have a child right now, and that absolutely kills me. I don’t need any judgement, nor do I need anyone telling me I’m a horrible person. Trust me, there’s no possible way I could feel any worse. I just need some light in this situation, some guidance. I’m so scared. So if any of you ladies could give me a little advice I would love to hear it.

3 years ago I met my then boyfriend, now husband. I was on birth control and after careless previous years I had never been pregnant. We'll just a few months into our relationship I end up pregnant, I was finally finalizing my divorce from my previous marriage (takes years to finalize where I live) and falling madly in love with this new man. but I knew having a baby amoungst all my ending chaos was not the way to go for me, or for us. I had already made up my mind before I told him. It ended up being the best choice in the end for us. We have been able to travel the world, move into our house and get married. My silver lining was that I could actually get pregnant, it's all I had ever wanted, but it had never happened until that point. Now 3 years later we are pregnant with our planned baby and couldn't be more excited for this. It's right this time. I'm sending you hugs and support 💕

hi girl! so its not me who had it but my best friend! we actually would have had a sue date around the same time but what was best for her was terminating the pregnancy! shes happy and doing well emotionally and physically, but she DID MOT WANT A BABY she felt bad due to not being safer while having sex but she doesn’t regret her decision nor did she stress too much about it. she told me that she made an appointment to talk about her options with a clinic near here and got an ultrasound and discussed what was best for her, made a pro/con list w the doctor and a few days late made her appointment. if you are having doubts or guilt maybe talk to them about another option! but dont let anyone guilt you into any kind of life altering decision! best of luck girl

I had one 3 years ago. I was just divorced from my ex husband and got together with a guy and didn’t think I would get pregnant and I did. I was in no position to have a child because I was a newly single mother to my now 8 year old. I was barely making any money and living with family. I chose it because I knew if I went the adoption route I couldn’t do it after I saw the baby and I know that sounds selfish but that’s just how it was. Honestly, it was extremely traumatic and I’ll be starting counseling for it after my pregnancy right now. That doesn’t mean it’s like that for every woman but to me it’s just something that’s never left my head and I still have flashbacks from it. But I do know that it was what was best for me at the time. As horrible as I feel about it there was nothing else I could have done. I’m so sorry you have to go through even the thought process of this. Whatever you choose will be the right choice FOR YOU. Only we know what truly is best for ourselves. I waited til almost 12 weeks because it took me that long to decided. I’m sending lots of love and hugs your way? I know how hard this all is. 💜

Hi! I had an abortion in the spring. It was so crazy how it happened, it was a drunk hook up with a guy I worked with and we used protection. The condom came off though and we didn't notice until after, and then on the morning my friends and I drove to the drugstore to get Plan B. I literally took Plan B 7 hours after. My period was late and I tried not to think much of it, because Plan B can mess up your period. I was starting to get symptoms that I usually get around my period, but they were actually pregnancy symptoms. I took a test for peace of mind, and it was positive. I was in shock, and my friends helped me figure everything out. I took the next day off work and my friend and I left early for the 2 hour drive to the city. I didnt even have an appointment but we needed to get on the road. I called while she drove, and got an appointment for that morning. I know I am very fortunate that where I live in Canada it is so easy to book an appointment. It all happened so fast that I was in shock the whole time. It didn't hit me until the night after my appointment. The actual surgical procedure only took about 5 minutes. Emotionally, it has definitely been tough. I don't regret my decision, the father and I were not in a relationship and not in a good place either way. I had just graduated university and am applying to my masters and living back with my parents, who have no idea about this. There is no way I could have a baby right now, I still have so much to do before I am ready for that, as well I didn't have a relationship with the father. I had an abortion recently on November 14, 2017. i was literally heart broken and still am. but i am a mommy of an angel now and i know that i wasnt ready to take care of a child. i was 16 almost 17 when i had the abortion and i just know things are better off this way. the decision you made was best for you and probably for the baby too. dont let anyone tell you that you made the wrong decision cause that isnt their choice to make. they werent put in that situation so they dont understand it. you will always have your glow community for support ❤️
