Do you and your partner say ‘I love you’ during sex?

My boyfriend and I were doing it and I randomly thought about how he never says “I love you” to me during sex, I’m always the one to say it. I asked him why and he said “he thinks it’s weird kind of”. But he says it while we kiss or lay in bed😂 He’s got me wondering if it is weird to say “I love you” during sex, so does anybody else do it?
