Opk getting darker

So I wanna try opks before taking a hpt next week and what I heard about this method is they usually get darker if you’re pregnant cause of the hcg. I’m only 8dpo. The right one is from yesterday and left today with fmu 🤔 Anyone got a confirmation with an Opk before taking a positive hpt??!!
