Does anyone know if car seat covers are safe?

Does anyone know if these are safe in cars? I don’t have tint on my window and want to knkw if these are safe ?

I wouldn't drive with the cover on.  You wanna be able to see their face.  they have window clings that block the sun.

We have a cover like that we are using since the wind chill is pretty cold here. We only flip the flap closed when we are walking to and from the car outside. I wouldn't leave it closed for any longer since there isn't a lot of space for breathing when it's closed.

generally not sage. you can't easily check on baby, which is important while they're learning to regulate their own breathing. you need to constantly make sure they're in a good position that opens their airway. in the summer, covers trap the heat in, similar to leaving your baby in a hot car.

It’s a lot safer than the blankets people put over their car seats. I would use it outside in the cold and remove it while in the car and in doors

I had something not elike the top picture and it worked great in winter ! I did keep the cover on in the car but every time I went inside come place I opened the head flap thing . (Only had it closed when baby wasn’t in it or when we were walking from someplace to car) other than that it was always open . With baby in it

Leave it open or off in the car. If god forbid you are in an accident you want to be able to access your lo asap to get them to safety! Babies actually don't mind having the sun on them in the car in my experience and the vitamin d is good for them. You can also get sun shades for the windows.

We have them. You just leave the flap open while in the car for the baby. Otherwise, I love them. No1 is inclined to touch the babies without permission, which was a problem.

as long as it's a shower cap style and it doesn't go between the straps you're good! it's not recommended to leave them on in the car though in case you are in a wreck they can trap baby and become a fire hazard. they can also make baby over heat which is a sids risk.
