Should I️ be concerned??

So I️ stopped taking my birth control 3 weeks ago and I️ still haven’t had a period. Is that normal? I️ feel like by now I️ should have had a period. I️ have a doc appt in 1 week, then I️ will know what’s taking so long, but in the mean time I’m concerned. I️ don’t feel like I’m pregnant either, I️ have a boy and a girl and with both pregnancies I️ was very very sick from day one. Any advise????

Your body is probably just trying to get back to normal. Take a test just to be sure or for piece of mind. But otherwise hopefully you can get some answers at your appointment.

Some people take a while to regulate again. I got my withdrawal bleed right away but I didn't get an actual period for a month. My hormones were all over the place. They usually say if it doesn't come naturally after two months to go see your doctor and they can give you a pill to help jumpstart it.

it took a month and a half to get my period after having my iud removed. Dont worry to much it takes time for ur body to normalize. Ur dr will do a blood test, so relax and enjoy a temp reliefe from af!
