I am a pretty private person but I needed to talk about this somewhere. Right now I’m on the way from our local hospital to a bigger one specializing in peds. We took my son to the ER tonight because he had a fever. They did a spinal tap on him and it turns out he has meningitis. The good news is that it’s not bacterial. But now we are on our way to this bigger hospital for monitoring. First New Years I will be in the hospital, but of course I’ll do anything for my little one. I wish so bad that it was me who was sick and not him. Wish me luck!

Good news is that they did further testing and it looks like Asher only had a cold.

Bad news is since he had a fever we’re here for 48 hours regardless
