When you’re going to have guest over, what rooms are your priority?

And what do you do to not stress about getting them cleaned up?
(Especially with a baby!)
Main room (living room), bathroom(s), and kitchen??

Is it bad that I do nothing lol, like our house is lived in, I’m not into making special accommodations for people, the only thing extra I do is a cleaning of the guest room because it isn’t used very often, lol

Loving room for sure as well as the guest bath in the hall. then if I have time, the kitchen

People can come over as they wish but they cannot hold the baby, he will either be in his room or in a bassinet downstairs. My husband’s family is rude and overwhelming but I’m going to try and compromise. As long as they call and come over at a reasonable time, they can look. 
We have a 4 bedroom house with 3 baths and the floor plan is pretty open so I would like for it to stay clean. I will be hiring a cleaning service a month before I deliver and I will probably keep them until baby is about 6 months old.

You have a new baby? No rooms. No rooms need be cleaned. 
Give your friends credit - they understand you don’t have time to make the home look like a home decor magazine spread. They might even offer to help. Which is what we all really need.
That said... check the toilet for any offenses.

I make sure the bathroom is wiped down (because I have a house full of boys and pee is everywhere..) and I might get the kids to throw their toys into a bin. Unless we’re having someone over who has never been to our house before, we don’t clean. You want to see us, you know how we live.

The room/s that they will see- the living room/kitchen and bathroom. I don’t care too much if it’s not perfectly neat and I just want it to be fairly clean- whatever I can do in 10 minutes. Unless they’re staying over or it’s a special occasion or someone like my boss- then I will put extra effort in to make the place very neat and clean. My husband and I start cleaning at opposite ends of the house and meet in the middle to get it done faster!

I have a guest arriving in an hour and I haven't done anything 😂
Dishes are in the sink, recycling and trash need to go out, the bed isn't even put up in the guest room yet. Not too worried though. We lived together in college, so she's seen much worse

kitchen, dining room/entrance and tidy the living room. I pull the shower curtain and pick up any mess in the bathroom. bedroom doors stay shut 💁
