Don’t know who else to ask..

Rhiannon

Okay so basically my midwife isn’t very reliable when it comes to contacting her as she doesn’t work weekends and she only works until 5 - and she is currently on annual leave...

I contacted her last week about some one sided back pain I have been having for a few days now - just seems to be on the right hand lower side -

She suggested it could be a possible infection or UTI so I should drop a sample into my GP - which I did on Friday -

I did think myself it was maybe a UTI or infection as it would make sense as my previous urine samples have all contained bacteria but no present infection. So I was told to keep an eye out for symptoms of an infection.

I’m still getting the back pain today and have no way of knowing wether I have an infection or not as I haven’t noticed any symptoms other than back pain and a teeny bit of twingey groin pain on one side which isn’t sore - the back pain also isn’t sore but is achey.

I’m worried if it is an infection that maybe it is a kidney infection or something ? My go closed at weekends and so is midwife and they will all be closed until Wednesday due to new year.

The only other thing I read about that it could be is a sciatica ? I did have pain in top of my neck and the top yesterday but haven’t had it since...

What should I do ? Just worried that a kidney infection would cause harm if I left it any longer ?

Would I know if it was a kidney infection would I be in agony?

Anyone had this ?

Help please - also I’m 14 weeks pregnant
