Who is doing the top 9 moments of 2017? I’m not! (More in desc)

Question

If you’ve been on any social media platform you’d have seen atleast one friend/relative put up a custom collage of photos of their favourite moments from this year. Most of which are major milestones like getting married etc or getting a house.
Idk about you but seeing everyones success kinda just makes me more miserable. Im dealing with depression alone and I will be on my own basically for New Years.
The only two moments I’m grateful for is giving birth to my son ( who I’m raising single handedly ) and getting a rented house ( through the council ). I have nothing else to be grateful for this year, I’m always alone I have no friends, I have no life really.. my confidence has been knocked for six when it comes to guys as I don’t feel good enough ever and the only thing I think I’m remotely good at is being a mum so if it wasn’t for my son keeping me happy I’d have ended things a long long time ago

Did you have a really fun day at the park with your son? A nice lunch date with a family member? A day to yourself to get your nails done or something like that? The first time your baby belly laughed? A nice meal you made for you and him? 
I know life gets tough but you have got to LOOK for the joy sometimes!! It’s there, in those precious little moments. So post away - their 9 moments are no better than yours.

Social media makes it look like all of your friends have great lives but I’m sure a lot of them are struggling with things you don’t know about. My life looks really happy on social media and we have a lot of good memories to look back on but me and my husband have had our struggles no one knows about. I’m sorry you have to be alone for New Years though. Don’t let it get you down and keep enjoying time with your little one, I hope things get better for you this next year

I know you feel like crap but you do have milestones, your childs alive and healthy, fed and safe. So are you. All in all thats a blessing in itself more than a lot of people have. 
But if you feel your depression is taking over maybe seeing a doctor in 2018 should be your New Years resolution.

You should do it just for yourself... it might remind you of all the good times you had with your son through the year. Some years are better than others, sure... but it’s what you do with each day that counts most
