I've been dealing with EDNOS since 2004, but I've never heard it referred to as "disordered eating". I've actually never heard that term before at all.
You should probably ask for clarification from the person who said it.

It means that you have abnormal patterns of eating but by themselves they're not warranted enough to fall under diagnosis of things like anorexia or bulimia nervosa (AN/BN).
Most disordered eating persons can be given EDNOS titles, yes.
