Is there a wait time after stopping the pill?

Im 25. I've been on the pill for 5 years and I've stopped it about 2 weeks ago. Is it safe/possible to ttc right away? before I was on the pill my period was always irregular. I've heard that I should wait until I get 1 full cycle before ttc. What are your thoughts?

I was also wondering this. I stopped taking my pill at the beginning of Dec because I always, ALWAYS had breakthrough bleeding and discharge just randomly and got a full period the day after. Wondering if I'm putting myself through a tww for nothing.
