Give up or keep fighting

I want an advice one from people who do not know me. I have been having problems with my parents being that they do not want me to be with my partner. We have been together for 7 years and I feel he is the greatest part of my life but I love my parents too. I am being push to chose between either or. I explain to them that I wasn’t going to chose either if that’s the decision they want me to make. It might sound childish or immature. I’m sorry but i do not know what to do. There’s more to the story but i can only write this because i believe the rest is extra drama or so.

Update: their reason is that he hasn’t been providing for me “financially”. In their eyes he doesn’t work and is still dependent of his family. However, he does work he sells produce and he has helped me with financial responsibilities like food,bills, expenses and school supplies( when I use to go to school) both of us still live with our parents. He has taken out loans to assist my family when they needed money and paid for my last semester of school. I have bills due to my mother expenses. So we both are in debt for the last 5 years and we want to finish paying off our expenses before moving out etc because we want to be able to afford it.
