is this my mucus plug? I'm 39+3 and have been getting the odd pain but not regular at all. if this is mucus plug does this mean labor is due to happen?

I  t looks like a plug. But keep in mind that many women lose their plug and don't go into labor for a while

i heard the plug can grow back.  i never lost a plug and was always induced so idk

I lost my plug 3 times over a month.  It definitely does not mean labour.  My last baby was the only one I lost it with.
