My daughter has had GI issues since she was a baby. She was on medications for some time, but we weaned her off of them to see how she’d react because we felt the medication was giving her some strange side-effects.

She’s six now and hasn’t been on any type of medication in I’d say about three years. Well, I’ve been noticing she has heartburn at night when she’s sleeping throughout the night. Also, she’s been holding her poo in and says it’s painful to go. She has held it in for days at a time without me realizing, and it’s ended up being too large for her to pass.

Now I’m really considering taking her to the doctor to get her seen again. I feel like all of this is causing her to have poor behavior. 😔
