How would you pronounce Kaya? I’m pronouncing it like Kiya. Will it be easy for others to pronounce that way?

I went to school with a Kaya. No one ever messed it up. It was actually short for Kayuyum (she is Phillipino) but she used the a ending when shortening it and no one ever called her by her full name.
