Frustrated with midwifery practice
Quick background, this is my second child with this practice of midwives. I switched offices though thinking perhaps that was the issue. I'm 34 weeks 5 days according to them (36 weeks according to when my husband and I know we conceived, long story but this happened with our first as well).
Each time I go I get a different opinion about everything, literally. From how big the baby is, due date, and gestational diabetes (what numbers are ok vs. not ok, meds needed or not).
I was in the hospitals week ago today for contractions. They never got closer then 15 minutes. They did a physical exam at that point I was 1cm, 50%. They release me and say come back when they're closer. The contractions happen every night. False labor I assume as no one says anything.
I go today as per instructions and they literally do nothing. I've lost 4 pounds- not even brought up. No physical or check to see if Ive lost any fluids (a concern last week but not this week?). They didn't even check babies heart beat.
Is it too late to leave this practice? Am I being dramatic? Anyone have experience or advice?
