Hickeys?

I’ve never had a hickey/lovebite but my I believe I am ready to receive one from my boyfriend of 5months. However the thought of someone sucking on my skin just seems like it would be uncomfortable/awkward? Not because I don’t want one but because I don’t want to feel awkward? Thoughts?

it should feel good, i’ve had many before and they do not hurt what so ever, i’ve he’s them everywhere and they don’t hurt and not awkward at all, when your doing things with the person the worst thing you could do is think about how awkward it is, just think about the stuff your doing and relax, and live in the moment.

My ex boyfriend used to give me hickeys all the time. There is one way we used to make the bruises not intense, and that way was parting early. Relaxation and comfort are very important! Also, when those awkward thoughts come in to mind, try to stop thinking about it being awkward for you, and consider how much your partner is enjoying what they are doing. I’m super self-conscious of giving head, but I know how much my partner loves it. So I do my best to remind myself of that.
