Cooper IUD - love it or hate it??

Any ladies have this? I’m thinking about getting it - I’m not able to have hormonal BC - and I’m curious about any side effects that anyone has experienced.

What does the poll look like? I haven’t had the IUD so i don’t want to mess up the results.

For me it's a love/hate thing. The pain of getting it inserted was horrible and I had the worst cramps for weeks afterwards. I got mine in February and had a really heavy period and terrible cramps until last month. Sometimes I would randomly get cramps when I didn't have my period. But having a fairly permanent form of birth control is pretty sweet. Hormones make me crazy so I'm really grateful there is an option for me. Keep in mind everyone's body is different and some people don't have any issues with the IUD. You really don't know until you get it.
