CC and all it’s tomfoolery 🤪

Guys, please forgive me if this post is all over the place, I’m on medication 😂

So. I’m at the hospital right now and bored AF, so I start scrolling through the Race, Gender & LGBT 101 room, and I go all the way back to the beginning of 2017. Let me just say, some of you guys have chaaaaaaaaanged 😂 Literally I think if I had met some of you guys at the beginning of last year, we may not get along now at ALL.

So my question(s) to you all is:

- Do you think your views on certain topics have changed since you joined this app? E.G homosexuality, race, politics and etc.

- Would you say there are people you originally didn’t get along with that you now do, and vice versa? (No specific names obviously, as I wouldn’t want comments to be deleted for being call outs)

- What would you say is the main thing you’ve learned from interacting with other people on this app, and being part of some of the rooms?

- If you could pick one post to be pinned in CC, what would it be?

- What has one of your favourite threads been so far, and least favourite?

I’ll start by saying, when I first joined and was reading a lot instead of commenting, I wasn’t as clued up on gender neutral pronouns, real feminism and the true variety in the LGBT+ community as well as different relationship types. I was also one of those “why do you guys need to be so rude” AKA not cut out for CC posters 😂 There are a few users that I started off disliking that I now absolutely love, and the post that absolutely floored me was that flat earthers thread; I swear my soul was almost claimed that day 🤣
