I was due 12/27/17 and was praying that I wouldn’t have to be induced since she did not come by that date. But at 2am on 12/28/17, my mucus plug came out and contractions started immediately. By 6am, my water broke, arrived at the hospital at 7am, was checked in and told I was 4cm dilated by 8am. I was given Pitocin around 1pm since I had not dilated further. By 3pm I went from 4cm to 9cm and the doctor and nurses started to prep for delivery. I pushed for 26 minutes and my baby girl was here at 4:49pm. Thanking God I did not have any tears. Feeling so blessed to have my baby girl in my arms before the New Year came!
