Today I went for an early ultrasound because I was having aches near my ovaries and feared the worst and thought i was having an ectopic pregnancy... They reassured me I wasn't, and that the sac was where it needed to be. However all she, the technician, could see was a yolk sac at the moment, no fetal pole or heartbeat. My doctor warned me before sending me for an ultrasound that it may be to early to see anything other than the yolk sac. I guess my question is has this happened to any of you before, and went in a few weeks and actually seen a heartbeat and fetal pole? Also idk why it says I'm 6w6d when I am only 6w3d. My doctor didn't seemed too concerned when she called me with results...
