How do you feel about your period?

I finally got my period today, it was running late (though there's no chance of me being pregnant so I wasn't concerned). Mine are long, painful and a pain to deal with but I enjoy the fact that they exemplify my femininity and tell me I'm not pregnant when I am sexually active.
