Highlighter, how do I put it on correctly?

I’ve never worn highlighter ever, but I bought lilac geode by Becca because it is absolutely gorgeous and had amazing reviews. The thing is, I don’t know how to do it correctly because I’ve never worn it. 
Also, it’s a limited edition product and that makes me want to explode because I’m telling you ladies, it is beautiful. Should I get another one or just try finding a look alike?

i love high end makeup! i say get the becca one! as for how to put it on: AFTER putting on your face makeup, blush, and bronzer, take a fluffy brush of some sort ( i use morphe’s R36) and just lightly brush it into the pan. then put it on the high points of your face (ex. your cheekbones, nose bridge, and under the arch of your eyebrow) and that’s it girl! shine like a diamond ✨

Spray your face with setting spray , with a fan brush put your highlight on the high parts of your cheek bones and above the arch of the eye, tip of the nose if it’s not big lol do it while your face is wet with setting spray...you can always put it in the inner corner of your eye, and under the brow bone
