Did you bleed during your Pap Smear?

I went in for my first pap today and immediately started bleeding. Doctor said it was normal at first then was concerned that it didn’t stop and that I might have an infection. I got so nervous I passed out in the office. Can anyone tell me more or comfort me with their own experiences?

My 1st one I had a little bit of blood and then the next day I had loads of bleeding ( like AF had turned up ) that lasted for 2 more days. Docs where worried about infection etc but everything was fine just bled more than others. After I had my 2nd one done I spoke to the person doing it and she said it can be very normal for 1st timers. Hope that helped :)
