Possible 4th leap?

Question

My babygirl is 18 weeks old and as of yesterday she’s been so cranky, doesn’t want to sleep or stay asleep and clingy. She’s never been a cryer and last night when she woke up to eat she just screamed and screamed until she started eating. I thought the 4th leap/4month regression happened 14-19 weeks? How long will this last? The baby sitter said she’s cried all afternoon 😩 is there anyway I can help her?

Well Last night she only woke up once to eat! She’s still sleeping too! Not too sure if she was just tired form the holidays or what but I’ll take it! I hate seeing her cranky and upset it breaks my heart. But today she gets her second set of shots. Wish me luck!

I'm pretty sure my baby has been going through it for the last 3-4 weeks (he just hit 18 weeks on Monday). luckily i was on Christmas break from work for the past 2 weeks so i could be there with him, but he was so clingy and went from 1-2 hour naps to fighting naps for 15 minutes and only sleeping 20 minutes. I feel like we're finally on the downhill side of things, his sleeping is improving and he's a little more mellow but still clingy. I don't have much advice other than to just hold on and go with your baby's needs! I snuggled him as much as I could (which I get is hard if you have to work😕) and I nursed him when he wanted, even if it was just for comfort. And i kept telling myself this phase will end soon 😂

Ours lasted a little over a month. The fourth leap is a looooong one. And if she deals with sleep regression on tip of it, you’re in for a doozy. Our daughter hit the sleep regression around 14 weeks and honestly got out around 18.5/19. But the 4th leap in general lasts for a month or so.
