Breast pumps, what do you prefer?

I loved my manual pump! It was easy to use and to travel with. I lost all the parts to my electric pump taking it to work one day so had to use the manual as a back up and loved it. I still used the electric at home. I also used the manual pump to induce labor with my second👍👍

I exclusively pumped for 7 months because my daughter wouldn't latch. If I would have had to use a manual pump would have died 😱 Manuals Suck.

I would have totally been on the side of electric all the way but I nursed for a year and let me tell you there was one time like 5 months in that I went to the grocery store after pumping before I left and for some reason I was so full in the middle of my shopping trip, and it was so painful I had to rush home lol I bought a Lansinoh manual single pump and disassembled and kept in my diaper bag for the rest of the year. I probably used it a handful of times just to relieve pressure, but it was the best thing ever haha so both. double electric and single manual. 🖤

The benefit of electric is you can pump both breasts at the same time while massaging your breasts to get more milk

I have both. I have a pumping station in our bedroom during the day with my electric pump and it is much faster. but I knew I needed a manual because I knew I would have to pump at least a little durning the night and I did not want to wake up my husband. plus it is super nice to have in the car for a quick pump so I don't leak or have massive boobs in public. and they are great when my husband and I would go out for quick trips, we went skiing. if you have to go for a longer trip like more than a few days you will probably need an electric pump. I have the medela freestyle and it works well for me. I have the advent manual pump and if you press to hard with that one it causes bleeding. I love my Lansinoh manual pump more.

I have both.  Electric is my main pump while the manual is my back up while traveling and I can't plug in.  Manual takes a lot longer and is exhausting... I became super frustrated.  But it saves me when I am in a pinch.
