So basically, I’ve been on a pill for a month and now since it’s my 7 day break, I got my period. It started on the second day with a little spotting, today it’s the third day and it got much worse - I have very bad cramps, the flow isn’t too bad, I wouldn’t call it heavy, but it’s not light, it’s kind of in the middle. However, when I went to the toilet to change my pad I suddenly felt something really big come out of my vagina!! I took it out of the toilet to have a look at it, and it looks like a massive blood clot. I think some of it “broke” off while I was trying to take it out, but it’s still very big.

Before I went on a pill I had combination of light and heavy periods, I would get blood clots occasionally but they were very small, never this big.

Also - I think it’s very unlikely, but still, just before I got on a pill I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend, and he didn’t pull out. I didn’t have any pregnancy symptoms, or implantation bleeding, but still, is it possible that it might be a miscarriage? It also had some white bits in it, which I didn’t see in my blood clots earlier.
