So this is complicated but I was put on the birth control Nexplanon on 9/7/14. I got diagnosed with PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) about a year later. I had the rod removed on 10/13/17 and was told to wait until January before I worry if I don’t get my period. (Nexplanon stopped the periods). To this day I have not had a period. It has been almost 3 months. I am also not pregnant. My question is:

1. Has anyone else experienced this after being taken off their birth control?

2. Do you think the Nexplanon caused this? (My periods were normal before I started this and i didn’t have symptoms of PCOS before)

3. Does anyone know ways to get your cycle regulated again? I am trying to have a baby... i just want my body to act normal again.
