I had an appointment on Tuesday. my doctors told me that I'm group b strep positive and that I have polyhydramnios( when you have too much amniotic fluid ). ok, no biggie, I had both with my first pregnancy. well now they are saying I have to go see a special because I'm measuring 42 weeks and that lil guy is measuring 8pounds. apparently body likes making large babies. doctor's are worried for his safety as well as mine. now I'm getting a little freaked out. depending on what the specialist says they will talk induction next week at my 38 week app. what would you ladies do? be ok with induction or wait it out? I was induced with my first pregnancy on my 40 week mark. he was 3 oz shy of 9pounds and had the umbilical cord wrapped around his shoulder and midsection. luckily he was fine but he came out a lil blue. because of this I'm more concerned this time.
