Is love possible after herpes type 2?

Your told u have herpes 2. 
Months almost a year goes by.
Ur relationship ur in eventually dies and y’all split... 
is it even possible to find a mate?
Or are we left to stay single never being sexual with no1 ever again? 
Are we damaged goods? 
Is there love after herpes type 2 or 1? 
How do u tell a new flame if u do try to date again?

I'm married so yes it's very possible with GH (type2). I got it from a cheating bastard of an ex-fiance. We split because I found out about the cheating.  I was already with my then boyfriend (now husband) by the time I had my first symptom about a year later i hadn't been with anyone therefore it was an easy link. I broke the news to my husband back then and was terrified... here we are almost 4 years later and married for 2. I also haven't had a break out for about 3.5 years. I take acyclovir everyday and I have had no issues. When I initially found out, I was terrified to have sex but apparently it is harder for males to get from a female. My husband gets checked and he doesn't have it.  I will say even though I haven't had a breakout in years,...I no longer let my DH put his mouth in that area just to be safe.

It’s not a death sentence. A lot of people have it. Be upfront with your next partner, and if they can’t deal with it, they’re not right for you. I know plenty of people with fulfilling love lives that have it.
