My boyfriend and I were together for two years before breaking up due to external circumstances. we were apart for approximately 10 months and recently got back together. we were both with other people during our time apart. recently we had sex for the first time since getting back together and it didn't feel the same. it felt honestly really strange and I've never been in a situation of getting back with an ex after being in another relationship. wondering if anyone else has been through this and if the awkwardness/negative history eventually fades away allowing the physical chemistry to come back.
