Maternity photos Diy??

Question

Do any of you have ideas for maternity photos you can do yourself? Professional photos I know are worth it but I can't exactly afford them right now. We have a Google pixel 2 and a Samsung S8+
The attached photo is the only one I have tried so far. Any ideas help! (Camera settings, lighting, poses etc)

We took advantage of the snow ❄️😇 I honestly felt more comfortable having my best friend take some photos of me !

The top two were taken on our Panasonic GH4. The underwater ones are with a GoPro Hero 5 Black.
Helps that I know my way around Lightroom and photoshop lol

Some bathtub shots are always pretty too (that's our next photo shoot theme)... Just don't do the rose petals yourself- if not done professionally they just look really cheesy!

Silhouettes are suuuuper easy to literally do yourself (with a camera stand anyway) and backlighting (daylight is best but a streetlight through like a café window would be really cool too!). Then adjust the contrast and warmth. My husband took my maternity photos with his iphone7 using stock settings (no photo apps or filters)

Look up “diy maternity pics” on Pinterest that’s what I did and they turned out pretty good. Afterwards I just played around with some filters
