Canker sores!??

I’m almost 8 weeks pregnant  and have been breaking out with mouth ulcers for weeks now.
I never would have thought this could be a symptom lol. I never experienced this with my first born. Anyone else have this problem ? They are so bad , big and very painful!😭

I think that being pregnant lowers your immune system is bull. I think it CAN but that doesn't mean it will completely crash your immune system. I've personally experienced my family all getting sick while I went along fine even though I was pregnant, I felt invincible! 
On that note I also have a few wretched canker sores right now. Burned my mouth on hot soup and they came up in the burned spot. It's agony. I get them periodically regardless of pregnancy, ever since I was a kid. Just sucks.

I actually have had 2.  Which I never have had before either so weird.  Maybe because our immune systems are lower.  Good luck

I would steer clear of tooth pastes containing Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) - the ingredient that makes it foam. It can really irritate or even trigger canker sores for some. Also avoiding anything spicy, sour, acidic while you have one. If you find you still persistently get them you can ask you doctor if a Lysine supplement is a good idea (not sure if there's any contraindications of use during pregnancy.) You could also call your dental office and see if they offer an in office treatment like Debacterol to ease the discomfort. Unfortunately they just have to run their course and nothing will make it go away sooner, but it definitely helps it feel better!! Sorry for info overload im a dental hygienist and deal with this question a lot!!  😝😝
