Do you consider you pets a "fur baby"

Just curious to see if you call/consider your pets fur baby/my baby/my child

Oh yes! My baby fever was calmed when I got both sets of my fur babies. My gerbils, Stroker and Hoop, have since passed away (they don't live very long which is unfortunate as they are pretty much the perfect rodent) and we have 4 year old chinchilla sisters, Violet and Lavender, that we adopted from a rescue last March! They fill the baby need for now, as they wholly depend upon me for their care just like a baby would. It doesn't mean that I'll never had a kid because I really truly want one, it just not a great time for me to have one.
Without further delay, my fur babies:

Stroker and Hoop, spooning in their bedding.

I call him my Baby Boy and heck yeah he was calming my baby fever, he lets me wrap up and cuddle him like one! Lol

I definitely refer to my pet as my kid, my sister is the same way with her dogs. Most of my friends are like that with their animals, they're members of the family. Odin is my little love bug and I adore him ♡

Any creature under my ward is my "child". Be it a stray cat I picked up to my son friends comming over to play. I am responsible for them.

Just like I'm responsible for helping them if I see them being abused or starving on the streets. Yet again, regardless of species. I think if more people owned up to being this way the world would at least be a little less shitty.

I hate the term fur baby. But I dearly love my animals and my husband and I treat them like family. Always. We just don't use that stupid stupid phrase. Haha

She lets me dress her, I clean up after them, feed/water them, bathe them, clean their potty(cause ya know you can't put them in diapers), take them in a stroller, they go to the stores with me, AND heck yes I call them and count them as my baby, just along with the human inside me! ❤️

Im not gonna lie, kittens TOTALLY calm down my baby fever, but no, i dont refer to them as my children. Ever. It just seems much too strange to me, there is no way that i birthed a cat lmao.
