So I had the nexplona, the implant in the arm, for 3 years and it caused me to have a mental breakdown. I was told that none of my mental problems were caused by it even though everything started after the implant was in place. I’ve been told by a few people that the IUD will do the same thing. Has anyone had a negative experience with the IUD? After getting the implant I was put on multiple different psychiatric medications and since getting it removed my moods and mental health have improved dramatically. I just need to know if the IUD could cause the same reaction the implant did.. I’m in serious need of advice...
